For us, matcha is that intention.

We fell in love with matcha — not just as a drink, but as a world. A world of farmers who wake up before sunrise to hand-pick leaves at just the right moment. Of stone mills that turn slowly, patiently, because there is no other way to do it properly. Of a cup that looks simple but carries centuries of craft inside it.

That passion drives everything we do at Nawo. We travel, we taste, we ask questions. We visit farms in Japan — because Japan remains the heartland of ceremonial matcha — but we stay open to other origins too. If a matcha impresses us, if it has that vibrant green, that silky texture, that deep clean umami, we want to know its story and share it with you.
